WEST JORDAN, Utah -- Two people from Utah were found in Nevada in a stolen car with a dead body hidden in the backseat.
Court documents show Cherie Ann Clark admitted to selling methamphetamine and heroin to Bryce Lowry at her apartment in West Jordan. Clark told investigators Lowry overdosed, and she took the opportunity to take his car and move to California.
Clark told investigators she called a friend and they: "...wrapped Bryce’s body in a sheet and a sleeping bag."
Police had been on the lookout for Bryce Lowry after his family reported him missing and his car stolen on the morning of October 5. In the afternoon on that same day, Clark was found in the car in Moapa, Nevada.
When she was found in Lowry's Jeep, investigators say she had: “…placed a large amount of her personal property on top of Bryce, concealing his body.”
Joshua Lee Zobel was with Clark when she was found. Clark told investigators she picked up Zobel shortly after leaving her apartment with Lowry's body in the back of the Jeep and that she didn't tell him about the body until they reached southern Utah.
Both Clark and Zobel face charges of theft by receiving stolen property, abuse or desecration of a human body and obstruction of Justice.

A family friend told Fox 13 News she knew Bryce struggled with substance abuse, but he remained close with his family.
"The family was really lucky to spend two days before they had a really big family event on Sunday, and they were able to make some great memories, so we're all just trying to cling to the great memories of his life," Brandi Johns, a family friend, said.
Johns said Lowry was a big sports fan, loved going to Ute football games, and had a soft spot for a growing list of nieces and nephews.
"He's super fun," Johns said. "He even came dressed up to one of their birthday parties in a Bigfoot costume. Just the fun uncle, just the kids loved him, and whenever he walked in the room everyone went running for Uncle Bryce."
She says the family and investigators are waiting on results of an autopsy to see if Bryce Lowry did indeed die from an overdose.
