Ken Britton, a volunteer, told us about being a patient driver. Ken has volunteered his time, car, and fuel to help drive patients to their cancer treatment appointments that otherwise would not be able to go. He has volunteered for six years and got involved with the program after watching his wife go through her own cancer treatments.
Cyndi Mead is a part of the Look Good, Feel Better Program which teaches women how to deal with changes to their hair, skin, and body while undergoing cancer treatments.
Everyone is invited to participate in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk this Saturday at Liberty Park. Go to makingstridesinutah.org for more information.
