As far as my health and fitness goes, this was a good week. I was able to ramp up my work outs from my injury and was able to get to the gym five out of six days.
It felt like it was Mother’s week, because I had an opportunity to accompany Mom to the Hale Center Theatre to see Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” and she loved it even though she said to me “It’s not Sound of Music, but I liked it.” Mom also got her very first iPhone, and my family welcomed her to the 21st Century technology family.
Two new adventures that I enjoyed this week while working for Good Day Utah was the Festa Italiana, where I learned a little Italian, and the Green River Melon Day, where there was, obviously, no shortage of good watermelon.
I also had a bit of a childhood flashback when I had the opportunity to introduce the Official Blues Brothers Revue at the Utah State Fair. It took me back to when I was 10 or 11-years-old and watched the movie for the first of many times. What a week!!
