School bus turned green house brings fresh produce and education to local kids

Salt Lake City- Shawn Peterson founded the non-profit The Green Urban Lunch Box , it is a 35-foot school bus that has been turned into a greenhouse and market. The bus makes it way throughout  Salt Lake City June through November teaching techniques for growing urban food and the improtance of localy grown produce. To find the locations and times of the mobile greenhouse go to their website or visit SLCGreen. If you want to get your hands a little dirty and give back to the community, they have volunteer opportunities in several different programs.  The Green Urban Lunch Box can be found at 340 E 400 S STE 50, Salt Lake City, Utah 84103.
