FILLMORE, Utah — City officials have canceled the water boil advisory for Fillmore after drinking water tests came back clean.

Fillmore residents were advised to boil tap water before using it after an electronic monitoring system failed to detect that a main water tank went dry earlier this week.

According to a news release from the city Thursday, the water tank was refilled, but the quality of the water wasn’t known.

Fillmore City public works officials tested water samples and the tests came back clean.
