LOS ANGELES, Calif. — A USC football player from Utah is accused of rape, forcible sodomy and other sexual crimes, and documents released by Los Angeles County officials this week show new details about the alleged crimes.

According to a probable cause statement, the victim told an LAPD investigator that she, Masina and his friend Don Hill went to Hill’s apartment on the night of July 14, 2016, where Masina and Hill allegedly took advantage of her. She told police that Masina had given her Xanax and rum, and that the three of them also smoked marijuana.

She stated that she was sexually assaulted by both Masina and Hill, and that she could not have consented to sex “because she couldn’t move, speak or even recall much of the night’s details,” according to the probable cause statement.

“The victim later learned that Osa Chad Masina took videos and pictures of them having sex without her knowledge and/or consent. Osa Chad Masina distributed these images/ videos to victim’s ex-boyfriend,” the probable cause statement said.

An affidavit alleges Masina committed similar crimes in Cottonwood Heights, Utah on the morning of July 26. This time, the affidavit said, the victim told police she had passed out at a party after consuming alcohol and marijuana. She told police she awoke to Masina sexually assaulting her, then she passed out again.

Masina has been suspended from USC’s game against the University of Alabama on Saturday as officials in Los Angeles and Cottonwood Heights continue their investigation.
