Juvenile in serious condition after SLC shooting; 2 suspects at large

SALT LAKE CITY — A juvenile is in serious condition after a shooting near a Mexican grocery store in Salt Lake City, Tuesday evening.

Salt Lake City police responded to Super Mercado, 1179 S. Navajo Street, on a report of a shooting. They are searching for two male suspects.

The suspects outstanding are described as Hispanic in their early 20s to late teens, according to tweets from Salt Lake City police. Both were wearing gray shirts. One had a heavy build and was wearing red shorts. The other suspect was described as skinny and wearing baggy jeans.

Police say possible vehicles involved in the shooting are a gray Dodge Charger, a black SUV or a cream-colored Acura.
