WEST JORDAN, Utah –The Day of Hope Car Show rolled into West Jordan Saturday to raise awareness about crimes against children as well as funds to help those affected.

The proceeds generated at the 5th annual car show will go to the Children’s Justice Center, which helps children who have been the victims of a crime.

The show, which is sponsored by FOX 13 News, plays host to many different cars, both old and new. Organizers say the event is so popular that many who attend each year are repeat visitors.

“We have new cars, and we have cars you’ve never seen before,” said Susanne Mitchell, a program manager for the Children’s Justice Center. “Every year there’s something new here. The neat thing is that people come back here year after year because it’s one of their favorite car shows, and it’s a family fun event. It’s free for spectators to attend.”
