What an amazing week with so much positive energy and good fortune for our family!
My brother Ed, his wife Sarah, and their two kids (Dylan and Hillary) were visiting from Australia.
My niece Kalani married her husband Skylar on Tuesday, which was a great warm-up for my son’s wedding.
The rehearsal dinner was fun, and I ran in to Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson, the UFC Flyweight Champ, downtown while trying to find parking. He was gracious enough to take a photo with me even in the midst of securing a street taco.
When meeting new people for the first time, it can be nerve-wracking, but after having dinner and joking, the new side of the family looks like they will help make future family get-togethers fun!
I would be so ungrateful if I did not thank my in-laws for all the work they put in to make Kingslee and Brittney’s day a success: Tyler & Janell, Mom & Dad Burton, The Ganoe family: Jan & Legrand, Caleb & Sarah, Abbigail, The Amrine family: Robin & Kevin, Lauren, Alex, The Howard Family: Hilary & Paul.
Gotta thank my family, too, Broderlowe, Faumuina, Taula, Kaifusi, Kinikini and a big fist bump to Brittney’s Mom, Stefanie, and her boyfriend, Dave, for all their help too.
A big shout out to R&R BBQ, Vivint Smart Home Arena, and DJ Wiz for making it a truly special day!
