The theme this week is good, bad, good.
First, the good. This week started with a fun kind of “passing of the torch” moment with my daughter Jaelyn as we marched on Pioneer Day with my family and the Liahona Band. It was her first time marching with the band on Pioneer Day.
Now, for the bad. My family has felt the blow of death again with the passing of my uncle Li Tauti in Samoa.
He was a part of my life as a teacher and church leader before marrying my Mom’s sister, Taofo, and he has always been known as a humble and firm man who did not play around if you did not finish your assignments.
One last bit of good for the week: I have a clean bill of health and a green light to return to full strength workouts at the gym! Thank you all so much for your continued support. I am looking forward to the next chapter in my Losing For Life journey.
