SALT LAKE CITY -- Leslie Fiet has been obsessed with Donny Osmond since she was a child.

She's been to the concerts and bought every album. As a grown woman, she even created a shrine inside her cupcake shop dedicated to her favorite "Soldier of Love."

FOX 13 News' Todd Tanner spotted the shrine in February of 2015 while covering a story about a missing 3-year-old who was the subject of an Amber Alert.

Bella Martinez, 3, was sleeping in the back seat of her parent's car when it was stolen from a convenience store parking lot.

Leslie Fiet got the alert on her phone, stepped outside of her shop, Mini's, near the corner of 800 South and Main Street in Salt Lake City, and spotted the stolen car parked on the side of the road with little Bella still in the back seat.

Leslie reached through an open window, retrieved the little girl, and ran back to her shop where she locked the door and called police.

When Todd Tanner recently spoke with Leslie again, he got the back story on her Osmond obsession. It turns out Leslie had never met her hero, in spite of having tried several times.

FOX 13 News reached out to Donny Osmond to see if he might me interested in meeting Leslie, and he was all in.

A surprise was planned, and the very memorable moment was captured on video.
