This summer, Jordan Valley Medical Center opens its new community Cancer Center—a two-story cancer facility for inpatient and outpatient care. The overall goal of this new and improved facility is to provide comprehensive cancer services closer to home.
Prevention is the first line of defense against cancer. At the Jordan Valley Cancer Center, early diagnosis is crucial to begin any treatment plan. Partnering with Utah Cancer Specialists for medical oncology, the cancer center uses a multidisciplinary approach to provide personalized care and treatment options to each patient. Nurse navigators are also on staff to help streamline the entire cancer care process—from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship.
