CENTERVILLE, Utah -- Authorities are seeking the public’s help identifying a person of interest in four suspicious fires in Centerville, Monday morning.

The person of interest is seen in a video clip posted on the Centerville Police Department's Facebook page. The footage was recorded near one of the fires just before it was reported, according to the post.

Investigators think the blazes started between 3:30 and 4 a.m. as the first calls began to come in at 3:45 a.m.

The worst of the four was a structure fire near 1450 North and Main Street where a home's front bushes burned and power lines were down, police said.

The other fires included a dumpster fire at 100 East 1000 North and a trailer fire at 100 South 200 East.

South Davis Fire Chief Jeff Bassett said all of the fires this morning are being considered suspicious as they were all in close proximity and appear to be man-made.

Investigators are comparing Monday's fires to similar suspicious fires that happened less than a week ago in Farmington.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the individual in the surveillance video is asked to call Centerville police at 801-292-8441.

FOX 13 will provide updates as the information is provided.
