HUNTSVILLE, Utah -- Utah State Route 39 may be the most patriotic drive in Utah, as three massive murals can be seen from the roadway in and around Huntsville, Utah.

Jake Songer is the artist who brought them to life.

Songer, who lives in Huntsville but usually works out of a small studio in downtown Ogden, was approached by a barn owner a couple years ago. The owner asked him to help paint a "label" on a historic barn.

As the piece took shape, other property owners requested that Songer paint a patriotic symbols on their barns, which also front the road.

An American flag, and a life sized bust of the Statue of Liberty soon took shape.

The murals are a departure from Songers other artworks. He is represented by galleries in Utah and around the country. You can see more of his work hereor follow him on Facebook.

Songer also says more murals may soon be on the way!
