SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A man is recovering in the hospital after crashing his car on I-80.
Utah Highway Patrol say that the man drifted off the road and overcorrected causing his car to roll.
Authorities on scene say the man suffered head injuries as a result of the crash but he was not ejected from his car.
UHP also say there’s no sign he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs but they are looking into whether or not he fell asleep.
A nurse driving in the area saw the crash and stopped to assess him.
She told UHP troopers he was not wearing a seat belt.
