On June 18 at about 1:30 a.m., a 26-year-old man was shot at least four times in the area of the 2700 block of Washington Boulevard after a confrontation with three or four males, according to Ogden police.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he is still listed in critical condition.

Detectives have identified the person of interest in the shooting as Patrick Galindo, 19. He was released from Weber County Jail on June 15.

“At this time, detectives believe this is gang violence and that the victim has no gang affiliations,” according to police.

A warrant has been issued for Galindo’s arrest. He is a documented gang member and is considered armed and dangerous, police say.

Galindo is described as 5 feet and 3 inches tall, 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Patrick Galindo’s whereabouts is asked to call Detective Gerfen at 801-629-8477. Tips can also be emailed to detectives@ogdencity.com.
