SALT LAKE CITY -- The 23rd annual Utah Lineman's Rodeo was held in Salt Lake City Saturday at the Little America Hotel.

The event allows linemen, who risk their lives every day dealing with high voltage, to showcase their skill set, which often takes them high above ground.

One competition had electrical workers climbing a 45-foot electric pole while holding an egg in their mouth. The goal was to secure the fastest time while keeping the egg intact.

See the video above for a look at the event, which raised funds for the University of Utah Burn Center. The event was a joint effort by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and Rocky Mountain Power.
