Men illegally in U.S. arrested for pulling gun on Utah man in love triangle dispute

ST. GEORGE,  Utah – Two men who were illegally in the U.S. have been arrested in southern Utah after pulling a gun during an alleged dispute about a love triangle.

According to the St. George News, officers were called to Sand Hollow State Park on reports of two men with a gun assaulting another man Sunday.

Police arrived to find two men and a woman in a black Honda.

Mario Esteban Zepeda-Palma was driving and Juan Carlos Pacheco-Martinez and  Mejia Florectia were also in the car.

Inside the car officers found a backpack with a .22-caliber revolver wrapped in a towel, methamphetamine and two pipes with methamphetamine residue.

The St. George News also reported police found falsified social security documents in Pacheco-Martinez’s wallet inside the backpack.

The two men are now facing weapon and drug charges among others.
