PAYSON, Utah -- Fire officials are investigating a blaze that tore through a Payson home early Saturday morning, and the home is considered a total loss.
Fire crews were called out to the structure fire in the area of 800 West and 1400 South at about 3:21 a.m. Santaquin Fire responded to assist, according to a Facebook post from Payson Fire Rescue.
Firefighters don't believe there was anyone inside the home when the fire broke out. The owners of the residence are long-haul truckers who rent the home out, but they said it has been vacant for the last several months.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
