SALT LAKE CITY -- Matthew Holland has been the President of Utah Valley University since 2009, and while it's one of the state's fastest growing schools, headlines about Holland have instead focused on his opposition to same-sex marriage.

Holland sat down with Bob Evans to discuss his tenure at UVU, see the video above for his interview and the answers to the 3 Questions listed below:

  1. Some say the need for college is waning and that vocational skills and entrepreneurial moxie are all you need to succeed, what do you think?
  2. Does the backlash over you signing an amicus brief on same-sex marriage ever give you pause, do you second-guess that decision?
  3. Your father was the 9th President of Brigham Young University, which is the better school: his or yours?
