Meadow Gold Dairy recalls several products sold in states including Utah

BOISE, Idaho — Meadow Gold Dairy has issued a voluntary recall for several products due to concerns about incomplete pasteurization, and Utah is among the four states where the products were sold.

According to the FDA, the recall applies to whipping cream and half and half products sold in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Oregon. The recall amounts to about 10,000 units.

During a records review, the company learned the pasteurization process for the products may have been inadequate. The under-processed products may potentially bear pathogens that include salmonella, listeria, E. coli and others. No reports of illness have been received connected to the recalled products as of this time.

A table showing the recalled products and their UPC codes is below, as are photos of the product packaging. Consumers are encouraged to dispose of the products and may return the packaging to the place of purchase for a full refund or exchange. Visit the FDA for more information on the recall.
