UTAH COUNTY — The last missionary for the LDS Church who was hurt in the Brussels terror attack is finally back home in Lehi.

According to a post on Facebook, Elder Richard Norby left the University of Utah hospital Tuesday.

Norby suffered severe burns and shrapnel wounds when a bomb went off at the Brussels airport in March.

His family says, while he’s back home, he still has a long recovery ahead.

In a statement on face book his family says in part: “This new chapter is a time of gratitude for the many medical personnel in Utah and in Brussels that made this day possible. It is a time of gratitude for all of the many who have prayed for miracles on his and our mother’s behalf. Our family has been comforted and blessed with peace during this wonderfully trying time.”
