HIGHLAND, Utah – The Alpine School District has released Lone Peak High School students for the day after receiving a bomb threat Wednesday.

School officials said they have notified parents.

Authorities are searching the school and said they anticipate to clear the buildings so classes can begin again Thursday.

Officers said the threat “does not appear to be credible” and the school has been evacuated as a precaution.
