LEHI, Utah -- The Lehi softball team is the favorite to three-peat as the 5A state champions this spring, but if they do hoist another trophy, it won't come without its share of adversity along the way.
The Pioneers former assistant coach, Carla Grow, was killed by a freak lightning strike last September. The team rallied to Grow's side for several days until she passed away, and have now dedicated their season to the former team matriarch with a motto bearing her name.
