OGDEN, Utah — Authorities are investigating a suspicious house fire on Tuesday morning that resulted in thousands of dollars in damage.
Fire crews were dispatched on a structure fire located at 963 E. Patterson Street, at 5:53 a.m. Ogden fire officials say the home is for sale but no one is living there.
The blaze started in the basement and spread to the first floor, according to tweets from Ogden fire. Damage is estimated at $75,000.
The cause is under investigation.
