As people age they may become more vulnerable to certain diseases, and this week Dave Nemeth takes a look at the importance of the shingles vaccine for those belonging to the the Baby Boomer generation.

Doctors say 1 in about 3 adults 50 years or older will get shingles. The vaccine may not prevent the disease in all patients, but, even if it doesn't, it will still reduce the severity of the symptoms.
