Advice from a parenting expert on how to get kids to sleep

Author and parenting expert Carol Tuttle shares advice on getting little ones to sleep at night. She also shares tricks for making them stay in their beds.

First, you need to identify the type of child and follow instructions accordingly.

Type 1 Fun-Loving Child - let them sleep with a different stuffed animal, mis and match pajama`s, read until they fall asleep, play some music, mix up bedtime
Type 2 Sensitive Child- make their room cozy and inviting, let them plan a bedtime routine
Type 3 Determine Child - Make sure they`ve had a lot of activity during the day
Type 4 - More Serious Child - Privacy in their sleeping space, routine and structure, let them be in charge of their bedtime routine with your support.
