    What a ridiculous waste of resources. The DEA is getting ready to re-schedule marijuana. How much money did the state spend on “busting” people over something that’s legal in surrounding states? Why not spend resources arresting and prosecuting mormon moms who cook their kids in cars or back over them in driveways? Half a gram of meth? LOL. Sounds like you idiots just put a big dent in Utah’s drug problem. This time next year, everyone will be able to smoke weed legally no matter what state they’re in and all of the resources used on nabbing these growers will be DOUBLE WASTED when the next democrat in the White House pardons them. Pick your battles, Utah. Stop arresting low-level drug offenders while waiting for the FBI to handle the elephant in the room (Hildale) while this mormon state turns a blind eye.

    Not to mention I think Anonymous tips shouldn’t be used as Credible. I recently had Officers want to come and check my house for drugs, all because “Someone” tipped them off saying I had drugs in my house, Which I didn’t. Come to find out the “someone” that tipped them off was mad at me, Because of Some imagined Slight

    Just plain stupid! So, these cops had solved every single murder and violent crime and were looking for something more to do right? Anyone can see that cannabis prohibition is a complete waste of precious law enforcement and court resources! Lazy police officers picking soft targets instead of fighting real crimes. So back to work lazy cops on, unsolved murders, rapes, assault and theft and leave harmless cannabis alone!

    Figures from the Center for Disease Control on numbers of deaths per year in the USA:

    * Prescription Drugs: 237,485 + 5000 traffic fatalities
    * Tobacco: 390,323
    * Alcohol: 88,013 + 16,000 traffic fatalities
    * Cocaine: 4,906
    * Heroin: 7,200
    * Aspirin: 466
    * Acetaminophen (Tylenol): 179
    * Marijuana: 0, none, not a single fatal overdose in all medical history and almost no traffic problems.

    So, which is safer???? Legalize, regulate and TAX!
