Making wishes come true with Make a Wish Utah

Heidi Atkin, a wish granting volunteer and Kabi Catalano, Director of Development with Make a Wish Utah tell us all of the fun things they are working on. They are always looking for volunteers.

How to become a volunteer:
o Online application and background check
o Training provided
 Work with families directly as a Wish Granter
 Assist with fundraising efforts
 Serve on a special event committee
 Youth ages 16 - 20 can also get involved as Wish Apprentices

EVENING OF WISHES GALA PROMOTION
 Black-Tie Gala, Saturday, April 9th @ The Grand America Hotel
o Festivities begin at 5:30 pm with a cocktail/mocktail reception & silent auction
o The evening continues with dinner, featured wish kids and live entertainment
 Comedian Jeff Civillico from Vegas
 Something BIG is happening during the program - have to be there to find out
o Night concludes with music and dancing w/DJ Rob of Life of the Party Entertainment

o Individual tickets = $250
o Table of 10 = $2,500
o All event proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish Families in Utah
