At about 6:38 p.m., the man entered Smoke Spot Vape Street, 4663 W. 6200 South, and held the clerk at gunpoint. He demanded the employee empty the register and give him the money, according to a press release from West Jordan police.

The clerk complied and left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described to be in his 20s and about 5 feet 9 inches tall to 6 feet 2 inches. He was last seen wearing a gray athletic hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, dark pants and dark shoes.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect is asked to call West Jordan Police Department at 801-840-4000.

He learned his technique by watching how his friends from south of the border hold theirs. And you’re right. The clerk could pop him with a pistol in his right hand while diverting the punks attention by waving money at him with his left hand.
