OREM, Utah — Police in Orem responded to an unusual accident Sunday morning after a boat being towed came loose and the trailer continued down the road, went into a yard and struck a concrete wall separating two properties.
According to the Orem Police Department, the crash occurred around 11 a.m. in the area of 1600 North and 645 West.
Police said a man was towing a boat behind his vehicle when the trailer came loose. The trailer passed in between a fire hydrant and telephone pole, crossed into someone’s yard and ultimately struck a concrete wall.
Police state there were no injuries beyond the wounds to the man’s pride.
