SALT LAKE CITY — The final man wanted in connection with a multi-million dollar fraud case involving the Fundamentalist LDS Church has surrendered to federal authorities.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Tuesday that Kimball Barlow surrendered and was booked into the Purgatory Jail. He is scheduled to appear before a federal judge on Wednesday.

Barlow is the 11th person to be charged in a food stamp fraud case that accuses FLDS members and leaders of bilking taxpayers out of more than $12 million. Federal prosecutors allege members were ordered by leaders of the Utah-based polygamous church to hand over their SNAP cards to the “United Order.”

Among the other defendants are Lyle Jeffs and Seth Jeffs, the brothers of imprisoned polygamist leader Waren Jeffs.
