High winds take down scaffolding, trees and power across Salt Lake Valley

SALT LAKE CITY - High winds are causing issues across the Salt Lake Valley including a scaffolding collapse in Salt Lake City on Foothill near 2100 S. blocking the northbound lanes.

Rocky Mountain Power said power has been restored after more than 2,000 were without it Thursday morning.

A large tree has also fallen across the road in front of a Tooele cemetery.

Another tree was blown down in Salt Lake City near 8th S. and 1600 W.
