SALT LAKE CITY – The Fox 13 newsroom has received several messages and calls from viewers who are concerned about a so-called “pro-rape” group that appears to be planning a meet-up in Utah this week.

A blogger who believes rape should be legal if done on private property is promoting “International Meetup Day” where he is encouraging his supporters to gather in locations across the US and the world.

According to Daryush “Roosh” Valizadeh’s blog, on Feb. 6 at 8 p.m. local time, the groups will meet at specific locations.

Here are the meet up locations posted for Utah:

  • Provo – Provo City Center Temple on the corner of University Avenue and Center Street. Meet at circle pathway in front of main entrance.
  • Salt Lake City – Salt Lake City Library, at the top of the amphitheater. Address: 210 E 400 S. Image.

According to WGN, Roosh is known for his controversial books that give men tips on how to have sex with woman in not always legal ways in the eyes of the law.

Roosh claims to run the website “Return of Kings” which is hosting the event touting 165 meetings in 43 countries Saturday night.

According to the website, hosts have been asked to wait at meeting points all around the world Saturday at 8 p.m. for men who are interested in attending.

The men are instructed to ask the question, “Do you know where I can find a pet shop?”

Members who are part of the group will then respond, “Yes, it’s right here.”

Fox 13 is working to confirm if these meet-ups will actually happen at the listed locations in Utah.

Snopes.com has not been able to completely debunk the “pro-rape” group’s planned meet ups.

Other cities are aware of the plans, some are even posting warnings on Facebook like this one from Des Moines Police.

It appears Anonymous and teams of hackers are working against the site as well.

And here is his opinion about everything wrong with American women…

He wrote, “I made this video so American women can understand all the things they do wrong. I hope that they will embark on a journey of self-improvement after watching it.”
