False Alarm: Propane tank and batteries found downtown are not a threat

SALT LAKE CITY – The reported propane tank hooked to a car battery has turned out to be a false alarm downtown.

Authorities blocked streets near the Salt Palace at 100 S. West Temple where officers said a propane tank and batteries were left.

However, officers said they pose no threat or danger at this time.
