NORTH SALT LAKE, Utah – The Utah-based dating site WhereWhitePeopleMeet.com is now responding to Fox 13 News after residents voiced concerns about a billboard for the service.

Several Utahns spoke with FOX 13 News about their take on the giant ad between 5600 W. and 7200 S. in West Valley City Thursday.

Friday afternoon the support team for the dating site responded to Fox 13 News with this email:

Thank you for your inquiries via email and twitter!

Our offices are currently closed for the holiday weekend. We only have basic support staff available at the moment. Our founders would love to speak with you and answer any questions you may have! They will get back with you on Monday, January 4 after the holiday weekend.

Support Team

Fox 13 will be following up with WhereWhitePeopleMeet.com Jan. 4, if not before, and will update you as soon as possible.

The dating site’s Twitter account, @MeetWhitePeople, tweeted a couple responses to general questions Thursday.

Why is this a story? So we should expect a news inquiry into blackpeoplemeet.com? And I’ve even seen BPM commercials on tv? White people need to stop this politically correct BS. Good job WPM!

  • Cory

Funny, I have never seen a similar story on the exclusive Blackpeoplemeet.com website. I guess everyone, but Whites are allowed to have anything for only them?

  • Mike Arvand

This is no different than the other widely accepted organization based on skin color. Black Lives Matter, or the united negro college fund. The only reason someone is having fits over it is because they used the word “white” Only the professional race baiters have a problem with it.

    sanctimonious tools.

  • Jessica

Why do white people get singled out. There’s multiple dating sites aimed at black singles and websites aimed at Latinos.
