Thursday a judge tossed out the case against the Davis School District, which claimed Davis High School should have done more to protect students from Brianne Altice who has been sentenced to at least two years in prison.

She pleaded guilty to forcible sex abuse after having sexual relations with three teen boys who were students at Davis High while she was a teacher there.

In exchange for the plea, Davis County prosecutors dismissed 11 other felony charges, including first-degree felony rape.

Altice could serve up to 30 years behind bars.
