WEBER COUNTY, Utah — The state medical examiner’s office has confirmed the body found in Weber County is  missing St. George man, Joshua Easley.

The body, with Easley’s ID, was discovered on Ben Lomond Peak on Sunday. The 25-year-old man went missing last year and had not been seen since.

Easley’s remains were identified using dental records, according to a tweet Tuesday from the Weber County Sheriff’s Office. The cause of death has yet to be determined.

Easley was last seen in North Ogden in April of 2014. His parents, Lucinda and David Martin, said he vanished with almost no trace.

Police stated Sunday Easley’s car was found abandoned at a trailhead in North Ogden around that same time.

Easley’s family has spent the past year seeking the public’s help on social media to find Easley. St. George police has also been investigating the case.
