SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Utes’ star running back Devontae Booker is out for knee surgery, according to multiple reports.

According to sources close to the team, Booker is going under the knife for a torn meniscus.

ESPN is reporting Booker’s father, Ronnie, told them Booker will miss the rest of regular season and a possible Pac-12 championship game.

According to ESPN, Booker might be able to play in a January bowl game for the Utes.

Booker suffered the injury in Utah’s double-overtime loss to Arizona last Saturday, has rushed for 1,261 yards and 11 touchdowns, while also contributing 37 catches for 318 yards for the No. 13 Utes this season.
