ST. GEORGE, Utah - The parents of a missing St. George man are pleading for information about their son’s whereabouts. The 25 year old went missing last year, and he hasn’t been seen since.

Joshua Easley was last seen in North Ogden. His parents, Lucinda and David Martin, said he vanished with almost no trace. And that’s been the hardest part, not having the answers to their looming questions.

“He’s missed his kids' birthdays,” David said. “Somebody out there somewhere just has to have information for his family. It’s just unrealistic that he walks away.”

Easley was last seen on surveillance video purchasing tires for his car. The car was found abandoned a day later, with no signs of Easley anywhere. David said it was unlike Easley to go a day without calling his mother. That’s why they suspect foul play.

St. George police say they’ve followed up on every lead in the case, but it’s gone cold. Sgt. Sam Despain said detectives are just as frustrated with the lack of clues.

“The frustrating part is the family, who has questions and wants answers and wants some closure in these cases,” said Despain. “We have those same questions that they have.”

The Martins say the holidays have become a particularly hard time, as Easley was a family man, doting over his two young daughters. Their only wish is to have him home.

“I just want answers,” said Lucinda. “I know someone might know something they think is insignificant. But that one detail could be the one piece we’re missing.”

Anyone with information is urged is asked to contact St George police at 435-627-4301, or the Martin’s themselves directly through their Facebook page. Tips can be anonymous.

The family has also set up a GoFundMe page to help raise money for a private investigator.
