North Carolina college on lockdown after campus shooting, officials report

NORTH CAROLINA — Spartanburg Methodist College is on lockdown after a shooting on campus, the South Carolina school’s Facebook page states.

FOX Carolina reports the shooting occurred at about 8:30 p.m. EST, and involved a campus police officer.

A coroner was also called to the scene, FOX Carolina reports.
