The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources posted images and video from a pair of animal releases that occurred at Mt. Dutton recently.

DWR provided several photos of bobcat being relocated in a mountainous area, and they also shot video of the release. Amy Canning, a communications specialist for the Utah DWR, said the bobcat was moved out of Orem after it was reportedly trying to get into a resident’s chicken coop.

The .GIF below shows several mountain goats being released to boost the Mt. Dutton population, and while two of the animals seem eager to explore their new home one seems completely uninterested in leaving the box for the snowy ground below.

Canning said they already had a crew scheduled to take and release the mountain goats at Mt. Dutton, so after the bobcat was captured they decided to take the animal along for a release as well.
