WEST JORDAN, Utah — Police in West Jordan said they are looking for a male who was driving a black BMW after a teenage girl was hit in West Jordan and the driver of the vehicle left the scene.
According to the West Jordan Police Department, the crash occurred in the area of 1451 West and 7000 South around 9:27 p.m.
Police said they believe the teen was trick-or-treating when she was hit. The girl was taken to a hospital with a leg injury and to be treated for neck pain. Police said the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver left the scene, and so far the only description provided for the driver is of a male who was in a black BMW.
There were two other crashes on Halloween in the Salt Lake Valley involving trick-or-treaters. In one case a teen girl was hit and killed, and in another crash three young children and their father suffered critical injuries.
