The Arizona Diamondbacks posted a video to their official Facebook page of some fans taking selfies during a recent game, with the caption “Did you really go to a baseball game if you don’t post a #selfie?”

Some of the comments on their video defended the group of girls, saying it looked like they were having a good time. Others said it was a sad sign of the times.

Looks like the fans aren’t the only ones who like the popular pictures either…

    Sad sign of the times, it’s almost cringeworthy just how vain and conceited we’ve all become where we can’t go anywhere without taking selfies of ourselves to post on social media so other people will comment on and like the picture. Just go to the game and watch it, leave your phone in your pocket. Speaking of selfies, I’m going to go have a selfie in the bathroom.
