Missing child from Taylorsville found playing video games at friend’s house

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah — Police issued an endangered missing advisory alert for a 7-year-old boy from Taylorsville Thursday night, and the child was found several hours later playing video games at a friend’s house and is safe.

According to a press release from the Unified Police Department, 7-year-old Satoh Xayachack usually comes home before dark, but when he didn’t do so Thursday his family became concerned and contacted authorities.

Police said later Thursday the boy was found around 11 p.m. and was safe. He had been playing video games at a friend’s house.

    Don’t 7-year olds have school on Fridays? Wouldn’t the parent(s) in the home where he was playing videos think to send him home at some reasonable hour? The boy needs to be grounded until he get the idea ….. assuming he has parents smart enough to explain things to him.
