No one injured after 13-year-old with autism crashes mom’s car in ditch

WEBER COUNTY, Utah – No one was seriously injured after a 13-year-old boy with autism landed his mother’s car in a ditch.

Deputies were called to an accident on 3300 E. in the Upper Valley Thursday afternoon and found a green SUV in a ditch.

Authorities said the teen took his mother’s keys and made it a mile down the road before crashing.

Deputies said no one was seriously injured and the SUV had only minor damage.
