RIVERTON, Utah — The My Heart Challenge moms participated in the “Triathamom” in Riverton Saturday morning.
FOX 13’s Big Budah was there to talk to them about the event.
This year’s edition of the “My Heart Challenge” features Utah mothers who are on 100-day quest to improve their heart health.
More than 700 moms signed up for the challenge offered by Intermountain Medical Center’s Heart Institute, and this week we take a look at the efforts of participant Tina Brown to educate student athletes about good nutrition. Brown and the teens play the physically demanding game of water polo, see the video above for details on her work to help teens make healthy eating choices.
