OGDEN, Utah — The Ogden Ranger District and Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest announced Sunday that portions of Cemetery Point and Pineview Reservoir would be closed in the coming days due to events associated with the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market’s Open Air Demo.

The press release states a portion of the picnic area at Cemetery Point at Pineview Reservoir will be closed Sunday, but that the remaining picnic area, swim beach and boat launch would be open to the public that day.

On Monday and Tuesday, Cemetery Point will be closed to all use for the Open Air Demo. The closure applies to all areas, including the boat ramp, swim beach and picnic area.

The open air demo includes vendor displays of products like kayaks, paddle boards and others. The event requires pre-registration to attend and is not open to the general public.
