Some fans in Italy really want the Foo Fighters to come play in Cesena, and to make their point they assembled a reported 1,000 musicians to play the hit song “Learn to Fly” all as one. The resulting video makes for some incredible footage, which has amassed more than 12 million YouTube views in just a handful of days. See below for the massive musical performance, and check out the second video below for Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl responding to the plea to come to Italy.

And here’s the reply from Grohl, which was posted with an Italian message that translates to: “See you soon, Cesena…. David xxx”

One of the top comments on the Facebook post is from Jade Rose Faugno, who presents this translation: “Hi, Cesena! I am David, hello. I’m sorry, I don’t speak Italian. Only a little, a little. That video – but how beautiful! Very beautiful. Thank you very much [literally: a thousand thanks]. We are arriving [coming], I promise. We’ll see each other soon. Thank you very much. I love you. Bye.”
