Tree falls on minivan carrying seven people in Logan Canyon

LOGAN, Utah — A tree fell on a minivan in Logan Canyon Thursday, causing it to spin off the road and crash.

According to a representative for the Utah Highway Patrol, it happened on U.S. Highway 89 near Wood Camp, which is close to mile marker 472.

The minivan’s occupants, a family of seven, were frightened but not seriously injured, the UHP representative said.
